Local newspaper editor Bella Greaves investigates the connection between a fatal accident and the glamorous owner of a Katoomba fashion label.

Meanwhile her friend, disgraced detective Paul Ruel, believes his life is in danger. His bosses think he’s imagining things – or maybe they just don’t care. When disaster strikes, it is left to Bella to discover what happened.
